My progress so far

The beginning of this semester seems like it happened so long ago. As we near the end, I’ve looked back to see how much I have learned and grown. We have covered a lot, from how to brainstorm story ideas to video editing.

One of the first important things we learned was query letters. Before this class, I had not known what query letters were. It was interesting to see how they are used to get an editor’s attention/approval for a story. The structure of a query letter is very easy to understand. After this course, I can now confidently say I write one.

Overall, this class has taught me so much. From the basics of a query letter to the difficulties of audio editing, it was all covered in this course. I’m looking forward to putting everything I’ve learned into my final story package.
