I will be sharing fat loss tips and the most time efficient way to lean up. You may have heard and read a lot about fat loss and not knowing which the facts from the myths are. Being misled by the myths will kill your progress. Understanding these facts from the myths is the first step to taking the right actions in order to get the results you want.

Before we dive deeper, you are probably wondering who I am?

My name is Andrew. I had been passionate about fitness and had been working out since the age of 16. I became a professional at 25 and had worked with several mega gyms in Singapore for the last 4 years, helping over 100 clients achieved their ideal body goals.

Now, let’s dive in!

No matter what that Instagram famous model tells you about “weight” loss (which should be fat loss)

Here are the most time efficient way to lose those fats;

Strength training builds lean muscle mass and is linked to your BMR (basal metabolic rate). This means that you will be burning more calories at rest! Muscle is metabolically active… in order to maintain it, you must burn more calories. Having more lean muscle mass means having less fat

Unless you are obese or have any cardiorespiratory condition, HIIT will not help you shed that fat! There are studies that have proven that HIIT may not better than steady-state cardio or weight training but what I am talking about here is being time efficient. There are people already complaining about 30 minutes of exercise being too long let alone 1 hour of steady state work. A typical HIIT session last between 4 minutes and 15 minutes, capping at 30mintes, which is dependent on the fitness level of individual.

The equation is simple, calories in versus calories out. If you expend more calories than consume, you lose weight and vice versa! Remember what you eat will fuel your body, be sure to eat nutrient dense foods. Note; there are no such thing as super foods. It is bullshit marketing at its finest.

For the ladies out there, do not be scared to eat and eat well.

You can do the top 3 correctly but having inadequate sleep will affect your results and your time and effort will go down the drain. This is how important quality sleep is for fat loss and/or muscle gain. Not to forget the other benefits you will be rewarded with adequate sleep. There are overwhelming weight of evidence indicates that the average adult needs about 7–9 hours of sleep per night.
