Where Is The Tesla Cybertruck?

Any Day Now…

The Cybertruck was unveiled more than two years ago in November of 2019 with an initial release of late 2021. Well, it’s now late 2021 and the Cybertruck is nowhere to be seen. So, where is the Cybertruck? Let me explain.

It isn’t just Tesla. Many manufacturers are facing delays with their products due to the ongoing pandemic. However, Tesla has a little more inside this delay, too. In recent months, Tesla has just completed the engineering design of the Cybertruck otherwise known as the their first electric pickup truck.

Not only that, but Elon Musk has also stated that they will be having some challenges in production due to some features like the steel exoskeleton body that requires a completely new manufacturing process.

Beta testing will probably begin sometime in 2022 because of the delays in productions. the Cybertruck is definitely a different type of a pickup truck especially in regards to design. However, there has been more than a million reservations for the Cybertruck with the single motor variant estimated to be released at $40,000. As of right now, that variant may not even come out anytime soon.

Elon Musk recently announced that a four-motor variant would be available and this would actually be the first truck set for production sometime in 2022.

Tesla isn’t in first place for sure. We’ve got other EV pickup trucks like the Rivian R1T and the Hummer EV and even the Ford F-150 Lightning. While the Rivian R1T’s initial availability has already started, we’ll be getting more of them in January of 2022. The Hummer EV and Ford F-150 Lightning are also expected to come out sometime next year.

Tesla better be picking up its pace because there are a lot of customers looking forward to the Cybertruck and if they don’t act quick, they can potentially lose some of these customers to other EV Pickup Trucks.

Granted, Tesla has delayed their Electric Semi as well as their supercar, so the delay in the cybertruck isn’t a surprise.

Are you excited for the Cybertruck? Even better, did you make a reservation? I’d love to know!
